Play: The Documentary

One World Futbol Project is honored to be the subject of the future documentary “Play”!

Merging Stones Entertainment, producers of the documentary, has over 20 years of experience producing numerous award winning films, television shows, shorts and commercials. Projects include the feature film “Street Dreams” which premiered at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater and was theatrically released, the award winning short “Vaya Con Dios”, 40 Episodes of GKA TV series, various specials for MTV, ESPN, NBC, ABC, FOX, Fuse, PBS, to name a few.

We have a passion for developing and producing films that have the power to change lives and inspire people. This project answers that call.  The documentary “Play” will tell the powerful story of how something as simple as a ball can inspire global citizenship, hope and healing through the innocent play world of children.”

The producing/directing team of Nadine Brown and Penny Edmiston bring to the film their creative vision and art of story telling. Their latest collaborative producing effort “The Bones Brigade” documentary will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012. We also welcome to the documentary the talents of Animation Director Juan Delcan.

Arthur Benjamin, an American business leader and global philanthropist, and founder of the Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation (also known as The Gail L. & Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation EIN20-0200319) has caught the vision of One World Futbol and the importance of this documentary. He, and his non-profit 501(c)3 organization are supporting efforts to promote this project, and to gather the funds necessary to create this documentary.
